I’m Maryann, a Cornwall wedding photographer with 15 years of experience and a genuine passion for real, unscripted moments. Holding a BA and MA in Photography, I’ve spent over a decade and a half honing a style that’s natural, documentary, and quietly romantic. With over 200 weddings photographed across Cornwall and beyond — from clifftop ceremonies above the Atlantic to intimate barn receptions tucked into the Cornish countryside — I bring both the technical skill and the human warmth to capture your day exactly as it feels. I take on a limited number of weddings each year so every couple gets my full attention. Whether you’re planning a relaxed elopement or a full-day celebration, I’d love to tell your story.
My style is part documentary, part quietly romantic. I’ll catch the bridesmaid wiping a tear during the speeches, the groom’s hand finding the small of his partner’s back, the dog photo-bombing the family group. I won’t make you stand awkwardly in a row pretending to laugh. We’ll go for a wander instead — find some good light, talk about your week, let the camera do its thing while you forget I’m there.
Brides, grooms, partners of every kind — Cornwall weddings come in every shape, and so do the people getting married. Two brides, two grooms, partners and people of every gender — you’re all welcome here, and your love story will be told honestly, beautifully, and entirely on your terms.
Cornwall is my canvas. I work across the whole county and know its light intimately — from the beaches at St Ives and the cliffs above Porthleven, to the wide open moor at Bodmin, the hidden creeks of the Fal, the wild headlands of the Lizard, and the harbour at Padstow. Popular venues I’ve photographed include Trevenna, Knightor Winery, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Beacon Crag, Bosvathick, Pendennis Castle, Trelowarren, The Rosevine, and many intimate barn conversions and private estates across mid and west Cornwall. Wherever your day takes us, I’ll meet you there.
Based in mid Cornwall, I cover weddings across the whole county including Truro, St Ives, Penzance, Falmouth, Newquay, Padstow, Bodmin, Helston, St Austell, Looe, and the Isles of Scilly. I also travel regularly to Devon, Somerset, and beyond — travel fees may apply for weddings more than 60 miles from Truro.
How far in advance should I book?
Most couples book 12–18 months ahead, especially for popular summer Saturdays. I only take a small number of weddings per year so I can give each one the attention it deserves — I’d recommend getting in touch as early as possible.
Do you photograph elopements?
Absolutely. Some of my favourite days have been small, intimate elopements — just the two of you, a wild Cornish headland, and a sense of adventure. Get in touch and we can design a day that fits exactly what you want.
What’s included in your packages?
All packages include a pre-wedding consultation, full-day coverage, a professionally edited online gallery, and print-quality downloads. Combined photography and videography packages are also available. Full details and pricing are on the pricing page.
Can we meet before booking?
Yes — I always recommend a call or video chat before booking so we can make sure we’re the right fit. I want you to feel completely comfortable with me on your wedding day.
Do you travel outside Cornwall?
Yes! I love destination weddings and have photographed across the UK and Europe. Just ask.

I'm a Cornwall wedding photographer based in mid Cornwall, and this county is my canvas. The beaches at St Ives, the cliffs above Porthleven, the wide open moor at Bodmin, the hidden creeks of the Fal, the wild headlands of the Lizard, the harbour at Padstow — wherever your love story takes us, I'll meet you there.

Brides, grooms, partners of every kind — Cornwall weddings come in every shape, and so do the people getting married. Two brides, two grooms, partners and people of every gender, you're all welcome here, and your love story will be told the same way: honestly, beautifully, and entirely on your terms.
Real moments over perfection. Storytelling over staging. The good light, the goosebumps, the first dance under the fairy lights, the way you look at each other when you think no one's watching — that's what I'm here for. Find out about pricing and packages.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, I'd love to hear from you. Tell me about your day, your people, your venue, your dog. Let's make some photographs you'll actually want to print.
«Sadie, married on 12/08/2023From start to finish Maryann and Nathan were absolutely fantastic. We all got along so well, which really comes across in the photos! They made us all feel so at ease and our friends and family loved them. The sneak peek photos are absolutely stunning, definitely worth every penny for the memories they've captured!»
«Andrea, married on 07/10/2023Having Maryann as our photographer for multiple weddings (to the same guy, Maryann knows what we mean) speaks volumes about the trust and confidence we have in her. Her ability to capture the most natural, beautiful, and meaningful moments is truly unparalleled. From the candid shots that perfectly encapsulate the joy of the day to the carefully composed portraits, every image reflects her exceptional eye for detail and storytelling. Her warm and calming presence means that you almost forget she's there, allowing for truly authentic moments to be captured. The quality of her work is outstanding and we feel incredibly lucky to have had her there to document our special occasions. A huge thank you Maryann!»
«Fran, married on 24/06/2023Maryann was fantastic in every way. From the first meeting, she made us feel at ease and completely understood our brief for easy natural photos. Maryann was incredibly communicative in the lead-up to the wedding, making sure she knew everything we wanted from the day. We received our photos after the day very quickly, and the video that was also made was amazing. She not only captured memories that we will treasure forever but was a great help in the morning calming nerves and offering great advice to the Bridal party (ironing dress sashes with straighteners, incredible idea!!). I can't recommend Maryann highly enough as a wedding photographer, book her and I promise you won't be disappointed!»
«Lucy, married on 28/06/2025Awesome throughout! Love the sneak peek photos that are just beautiful, and captured the fun chaos of our day! Can not wait to see the rest.»
«Ashleigh, married on 16/03/2024Maryann and her husband Nathan photographed our wedding and we are beyond thrilled with the results. They made us feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire day, which really shows in the photos. Their ability to capture both the big moments and the little in-between details is truly impressive. The quality of the images is stunning, and we already know these will be treasured forever. We couldn't recommend them highly enough!»
